Simunovic is an artist of sun and shadows, whose goal is to create atmosphere and mood through use of depth, shadow and light. He enjoys capturing the feeling of a day at a particular moment, solidifying that moment in watercolors before it disappears from the world forever. Miho paints mostly in watercolors because every color, every shade must be deliberately considered. Unlike oils, a shade that is too dark can never be lightened. This is the challenge of watercolors and a challenge that Miho embraces.
